Star Wars: The Old Republic still gets regular content updates. Did you know that? It’s true. The latest update, 7.6, just came out this week.
TOR now has dynamic encounters. These are exactly what they sound like; encounters that are in fact dynamic. Missions that pop up on the map to give the world more of a living feeling. You’ll be able to find them on Hoth and Tatooine to start off with. Your reward? Kittens.
Also in the update are three new tiers of augments, a new operation boss, modernizations to planets and characters, PvP Season 7, the Life Day event, and more.
The update also notes that character names are being released as of this update. The FAQ is here, but the short and juicy of it is that if you haven’t logged in since January 1, 2024 your names will be released to an unreserved pool and can be claimed.
So log in and play The Old Republic. It is fun. Name claims are 90% off for one week.
