Dauntless is shutting down on May 29, 2025. Dauntless will receive no additional content or updates. The game will no longer be available to play on May 29, 2025.
It’s too bad for the people who enjoyed the original version.

Bad reviews on steam are just because stupid overhaul.
Yeah it sucks because there’s very few Monster Hunter games out there that are not Monster Hunter. They could have had some real competition, especially being free to play.
