The Dawn of the Hunt is here, albeit slightly late as the patch launched in the middle of the day. Or is it dawn in The Shire, aka New Zealand? I don’t know, I wasn’t hired here at MMO Fallout for my time telling abilities.
Today’s update adds the newest class to Path of Exile 2: The Dawntress. Wielding a mix of ranged and melee, by which I mean spears, the new hero class is so powerful she actually got the endgame updated.
There are five new ascendancies for existing classes, as well as over 100 new support gems, new weapons, new gear, a revamped endgame. You’ll square up against Rogue Exiles, a new level of intelligence for NPCs who can use kits and abilities just like you can. Well maybe better than I can.
Meanwhile you can get a really cool deer pet by watching three hours of a Twitch stream between now and April 12. And by watch I mean put the volume nearly to zero, turn the resolution all the way down, and let it sit in an active window.
