As the US Government works to make life harder for everyone.
Eager gamers will be able to start pre-ordering the Nintendo Switch 2 on April 9. Unless of course you’re in the United States where a leadership of Tarantino-level villains recently decided to burn the economy down through a combination of incompetence and pure malice.
As the rest of the world braces for the uncertainty associated with a country whose leadership seems hell-bent on implementing cruel policies for the sheer sake of cruelty, Nintendo announced that pre-orders have been delayed for the foreseeable future citing the tariffs directly.
Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S. will not start April 9, 2025 in order to assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions. Nintendo will update timing at a later date. The launch date of June 5, 2025 is unchanged.
The news comes after a slate of tariffs including a 54% import tax on China, with China implementing a reciprocal 34% tariff on US goods.
Kinda crazy how all this is happening due to an impotent reality TV show host and a Nazi sympathizing shoddy car manufacturer CEO.
