Path of Exile 2 recently launched the Dawn of the Hunt update and with it a couple of new Twitch drops. This week you’ll be able to get your hands on the Azmeri Noble Deer Pet by watching three hours of drop enabled streams.
But not everyone seems to be getting their pets even after claiming the drop and having their account linked. This happened to me, and going by the forums it’s happened to a few others as well.
I’m not sure if this is related to how long ago you linked your Path of Exile and Twitch accounts, but for me my accounts have been linked for over eight years. When I pulled up my Twitch account on the Path of Exile management site, I noticed an error that the website was unable to retrieve information from my account.
The simple solution is to unlink your account and then re-link them. The website didn’t even make me sign back into Twitch and the whole process was instant. Once I did that, my Path of Exile account immediately recognized the deer pet drop, and dropped it into my account.
I didn’t even have to reboot the game, it was just there by the time I tabbed back over.
