LOTRO Will Grond Players Two New 64-Bit Servers

In a stinging announcement.

Lord of the Rings Online recently launched 64-bit servers, and the demand has been so big for players to get on these new servers that it’s even harder than finding a McDonald’s with those Minecraft toys in stock. Get those FTC complaints in now.

The good news is that two new servers are being crocheted as we speak for launch tomorrow. That’s April 9 for those of you reading this in the future. EU players will be able to connect to Grond on April 9 while US players will have to wait for Sting to launch after, on an unknown date.

VIPs get in April 9 at 2p.m. EST (-4 GMT), and all other players can start transferring an hour later. Housing is open immediately, so get your homes while the homes are hot and ready.

Check it out.
