Alongside Epic’s self-service refunds.
The Epic Games Store recently introduced automated refunds for games purchased within the last two weeks with less than two hours of gameplay, of which the player has not been banned or violated the terms of service. This brings the store more in line with Steam where Valve has offered automated refunds for quite some time.
“We’ve recently enabled the ability to self-refund qualifying purchases online by yourself. When you sign into your account on the Epic Games website, click the “Account” dropdown in the top right corner of the webpage, go to the “Transactions” tab and click the game title. If the game is eligible for a self-service refund, please click the “Refund” option to initiate the refund process.”
An unannounced bit of news related to the refunds are the apparent introduction of automated credits for games that go on sale within a certain period after their purchase. Epic has not offered a direct explanation or announcement of the policy, however reports are popping up online of people receiving notifications of credit.
Whoa whoa what?! I’ve clearly been around for too long because I find this refund for a discount I missed on the ?@EpicGames? store absolutely mind blowingly generous. This is incredible? pic.twitter.com/eHfcus5E0K

We will update should Epic make a statement about the policy.
