RuneScape Preps For 2019 Premiere Club, Mining & Smithing Beta

The end of 2018 is nigh, and that can only mean one thing: The next annual Premiere Club package is going to be available from RuneScape. For the uninitiated, Premiere Club is an annual package of RuneScape membership that comes with extra goodies including an aura, exclusive outfits, pets, access to VIP worlds, chat badges, and more. This year the price is going up to $89.99, up from $79.99 in 2017 and still much lower than the $107.99 in 2015/2016. Details on the premiere club bonuses will be revealed later this week, while the membership itself likely won’t go on sale until the 15.

Meanwhile, Jagex is gearing up for another round of beta testing of the game’s mining & smithing rework. MMO Fallout previewed the last beta round way back in February, so hopefully Jagex is a bit further along in their development.

RuneScape’s Premiere Club has returned once again for the 2014 holiday season. Premiere Club membership is a subscription package that can be purchased in three, six, or twelve month increments with bonuses increasing based on the length of the subscription. This year, Jagex has partnered with Paypal and is offering an exclusive samurai outfit and a pet to players who either buy their membership through Paypal or buy a lower tier membership and then upgrade to gold through Paypal.

The bonus list for this year is pretty extensive. All tiers receive bonus loyalty points (scaling), a lava hood, and a tier-5 aura Dwarven Instinct that can be used to find hidden treasures. Silver and up receives an additional daily treasure hunter key as well as a grey skin cosmetic. Gold tier members will receive an onyx skin override, lava wings, a lava bird pet, access to VIP servers, a premiere-club forum, an in-game badge, a forum badge, and exclusive Q&A with developers. All tiers have access to the Paypal exclusive if purchased through Paypal.

Premiere Club will only be available through the end of January.

Jagex Reveals Premiere Club 2014

premier_club_news_image-03110828

Last year, Jagex rolled out the Premiere Club. Players were able to buy limited packages of 3, 6, and 12 months of membership for a reduced price and receive added bonuses for doing so. In a post on the official website, Jagex has laid down the plans for 2013 Premiere Club. The packages are only available until “early 2014,” and the deal last year expired on February 4th. At the highest, gold tier full year package, players receive bonus loyalty points, exclusive pets, extra daily spins, access to VIP exclusive worlds, exclusive Q&A’s, chat and forum badges, and cosmetic promotional items that generally can only be obtained through special game cards.

This year’s deal is more expensive than last year, by a margin of about $12. It will be possible to redeem bonds for premiere membership, so dedicated players can get it all for free. You apparently need six, twelve, and twenty four bonds for each package respectively.
