In the ongoing Playstation Network saga, Sony has announced in today’s blog post that whoever breached the Playstation Network may have gained access to everything from names, addresses, emails, passwords, purchase history and more. Sony has since confirmed (since the publishing of this article) that credit card data was indeed encrypted, and is thus safe.
