Redbedlam appears to be completely dead.
I keep an eye on certain companies here at MMO Fallout, those that might not otherwise get much attention by the mainstream gaming press. One company I noticed gets a fair bit of traffic here is Redbedlam or as you know them; the folks behind The Missing Ink. That quirky paper cutout MMO that shut down for revisions and never came back.
Redbedlam has been a dead entity since 2018 if not earlier. While Redbedlam laid off all of their employees years ago, the company had still been operating first person shooter Bedlam in maintenance mode.
As of this week Bedlam has been retired from sale marking the final living title in Redbedlam’s library. Not that we expected any life to be breathed back into the dead company, but it’s still sad to see a developer with prospect finally shutter its only remaining game.
Rest in peace Redbedlam.
