Due to Coronavirus.
Destiny 2’s next expansion Beyond Light has been delayed until November 10. Originally set for launch on September 22, Bungie made the decision to delay its release due to the difficulty in maintaining development efficiency under Coronavirus conditions.
With the new release date of November 10 players will have nearly two additional months to get their triumphs in order before several planets are wholesale vaulted and removed for the foreseeable future.
The past few months have been a challenge and will continue to be during this pandemic. We’ve learned to create together in a new way, by having to work apart from one another. Despite these hurdles, we’re still committed to the same level of quality that our fans expect.
Beyond Light continues the ongoing Destiny 2 story. Taking place on the icy moon of Europa, Guardians will wield the new power of Stasis summoning epic supers to encase and shatter their foes.
