Creating video games is hard, it requires at least a modicum of talent in programming. Thankfully with the rise of asset stores and pre-built games any talentless hack off the street can build and compile their own barely-passable game and try to charge money for it.
One of those people is Ali Mansoor with The War on Terror who is a sad reminder of how many bad shooters I have seen over the past couple of years as I was able to look through the game’s screenshots and recognize almost everything as a bought Unreal asset. But the logo of the game didn’t fool anyone, as users were quick to point out that it looks a little familiar.

Yep, literally just stole a background wallpaper from Far Cry 2 and called it his own. I guess when you’re not that concerned about the quality of the game the ethics of stealing assets from more talented creators also isn’t an issue.
