Steamy.
RuneScape is officially out on Steam and that means you can get all of the runes and most of the scapes right now. After announcing that the game would be coming to the largest PC platform, Jagex has released the free to play title on a new platform in its nineteenth year of existence. Old School RuneScape will join in 2021.
You can download RuneScape for free and link it to your existing account to automatically log in. There are DLC packs that include membership as well as treasure hunter keys and cosmetics, along with other goodies. 20 achievements are available that will sync with your character when you log in, which means that if you’ve done everything you’ll probably unlock them instantly. There are also trading cards and badges.
RuneScape executive producer Ryan Ward said:
“I’m so excited that RuneScape is now available on Steam, bringing one of the world’s largest MMORPGs, to one of the world’s ultimate gaming destinations. It connects us to a huge community of PC gamers. Together, we will welcome them to millions in our RuneScape community and show them what we have to offer as a living game. It has been an absolute pleasure to work in partnership with Steam and to create fun, unique content for Steam’s worldwide community. This is just the beginning of bringing RuneScape to a wider audience”.
