Get those yak track tasks tracked.
Another season of the RuneScape Yak Track ends this week. The Knight Before Christmas Yak Track promo event started on December 14 and runs through January 24, offering fifty levels of tasks for players to grind through for a variety of cosmetic and experience rewards. If you have already completed the track as I have, good for you. For everyone who still has some levels to grind out, you have until next Sunday.
In addition to cosmetic rewards and experience bonuses, the Yak Track also rewards additional experience in specific skills for the duration of the Yak Track. Players who fully complete the Yak Track will have a 6% bonus to herblore, construction, and archaeology for the duration of the pass (January 24).
Jagex has been making an effort to eventually release Yak Track exclusive items on the game’s Oddments store for in-game currency after a (relatively long) period of time. This week’s update allows players to purchase all three outfits from the Catwalk treasure hunter promotion. The outfits were previously part of a random lootbox promotion in 2019 and 2020 and basically required luck (or a lot of money) to receive. They can now be bought with Oddments, a residual currency earned as players redeem daily treasure hunter keys.
