Steam: Five Games Everyone Wants For 2/21

Another five games literally everyone wants.

It is Sunday and that means another weekly list of five games everyone wants. Everyone. You, me, your parents, my mailman’s cat, and even that annoying anonymous driver who honks every time they pass by my neighbors house. Literally everyone. Let’s get to the list.

Curse of the Dead Gods – Passtech Games

Curse of the Dead Gods launches out of Early Access on February 23. A top-down action roguelike, Curse of the Dead Gods tasks players with traveling through a labyrinth of deadly traps, deadlier foes, all in the name of defeating the dead gods and making yourself a pretty penny in the process.

Curse of the Dead Gods enjoys quite a warm reception so far with 89% approval over 2,163 reviews at the time of publishing. As the game is already on early access, Curse of the Dead Gods is available for purchase and play right now.

League of Maidens – Maiden Gaming Inc.

Holy boobies, Batman. League of Maidens is for people who love big guns, and I’m not just referring to how the seemingly all-female cast are endowed with huge…tracts of land. A free to play online RPG, League of Maidens has a surprisingly somber soundtrack and serious story considering the content of the game itself.

Not only are there big battles, but there is a character poser. I’m sure nobody is going to use that character poser to create anything dirty.

Persona 5 Strikers – Atlus

Persona 5 Strikers is a crossover game between Dynasty Warriors and Persona 5. The Steam version supports up to 4k HD as well as a choice between English and Japanese voice overs. Strikers technically released last week since those who pre-ordered the deluxe edition received four days early access.

Rhythm Doctor – 7th Beat Games

Rhythm Doctor sounds self-explanatory. A scientifically accurate video game, you take on the role of a doctor who must cure your patients through the power of rhythm. Like I said, incredibly accurate to how medicine works in normal life.

Obviously this game is going to live or die on how good the music is, and if you check out the demo that doesn’t seem to be an issue.

Old School RuneScape – Jagex

RuneScape is an indie game that I’m not wholly familiar with, but appears to be somewhat popular among niche communities. Old School RuneScape is a 2013 reboot of 2007-era RuneScape that went off in its own direction and appears to have quite a few players today. What makes Old School RuneScape unique is that almost every update requires a consensus by the community to be implemented.
