Outriders Servers Buckle On Launch Day

Everyone wants to play Outriders. Less can play it.

Outriders, a game that reasonably shouldn’t need to be constantly connected to a server, needs to constantly be connected to a server. So it shouldn’t be surprising that launch day has come and the servers have buckled under the immense weight of six different consoles and their player bases trying to connect at once. Such is the case with low-budget publishers like Square Enix.

The Outriders status page shows a partial outage on core components and multiplayer. It might be possible to get in if you keep smashing that connect button. Everyone else might want to do something more productive with their time. Like playing RuneScape.
