Here’s a headline I only get to write once in a lifetime. Yesterday a lot of players changed their gender in Aion Classic. It’s not to make some political statement, but to fix a bug where female characters were unable to dual wield weapons, and only female characters. Why? Because computer glitches are sexist.
NCSoft since hotfixed the bug and today posted an update offering refunds to those who want one as well as a free ticket to swap your gender back. The offer is only available to female characters with the capability of dual wielding.

If you purchased a gender-change ticket yesterday due to the dual-wield issue affecting female characters, we would like to refund your purchase as well as grant a free ticket which you can use to swap your character’s gender back (if you so choose).
In order to make a request, please ensure that you purchased your gender-change ticket prior to the issue’s hotfix which was deployed on 6/23 at 9pm PT. In addition, your character must have been impacted by this bug, which means it is restricted to users who had female characters with the capacity to dual-wield.
