New World’s open beta hits on September 9, roughly [insert your time frame] from the multiple points the game was supposed to ship over the last year. The good news is that joining the beta is as easy as clicking a button and waiting. This time around the team isn’t dealing with beta keys, but instead using Steam’s built-in playtest system.
It’s so simple a four year old child could do it.
