Astellia Online and Astellia Royal are both officially closed as of today, October 18. You may be wondering to yourself, Connor didn’t you post a whole article about how both games were slated to go offline on October 29? And your calendar has them listed for October 29? That is correct.
It appears at some point between announcing the closure and now that the folks at Studio8 just straight up expedited the closure and moved the date from October 29 to October 18. That’s today. Meaning the games are dead today. Right now in fact.
Why the change in date? Maybe they couldn’t pay the extra 11 days on server rent.
