Allegations surfaced over the weekend.
Sony senior vice president George Cacioppo is officially out of the company this weekend, after allegations surfaced of Cacioppo soliciting a minor for sex. The YouTube channel People vs Preds posted a video alleging that they had set up a sting operation and Cacioppo was under the impression he was meeting a 15 year old boy for sex.
Chat logs have since been posted online, and information turned over to authorities. CNET meanwhile reports that Cacioppo has been terminated from his position at Sony with the company stating; “We are aware of the situation and the employee in question has been terminated from employment”. As of right now there is no indication of official police action being taken against Cacioppo.
