Works on hiring new employees while fixing server issues.
Mortal Online 2 has been out in early access for a short bit now as developer Star Vault works on fixing server issues that have persisted over the last week. In an announcement released today, Star Vault revealed that Mortal Online 2 has broken 110,000 sales. In addition, the company is bringing on board a third party group of networking consultants to tackle login issues, as well as hiring new devs to work on content and implement long term fixes.
The title’s subscription has been suspended while server issues are addressed. A patch further addressing login issues should be released within the next few days.
This is by far the biggest challenge in the entire project so far…we now have a very good picture of the main issues and how we need to solve them… Thank you for all your support, we will keep you updated on our progress and steps to solve this. We know you’re all eager to get into the game and we’re working very hard on making that happen as fast as possible.’ – Henrik Nyström, Star Vault CEO
Mortal Online 2 has a long term goal of 300,000 monthly players, which would put the game ahead of its closest competitor Eve Online.
