Upcoming space roguelike.
Jagex today announced the next title to be published under their Jagex Partners label. This Means Warp, under development by Outlier Games, will be the third release by Jagex’s publishing arm. Inspired by titles like FTL and Overcooked, This Means Warp puts players in control of a space ship as it hurtles through space, managing systems and conducting repairs as needed.
Phil Mansell, Jagex CEO, said: “As a publisher, it’s a rare pleasure to find a game that resonates with its player base, that can bring that appeal to the wider gaming audience, and that has serious long term commercial opportunity. We look forward to supporting the launch of This Means Warp later this year, and Outlier Games as a developer well into the future.”
