Early Access: Anacrusis Infinite Pass A Steal

Buy once, never have to buy again.

Anacrusis is currently in early access, and easily accessible to those of you with Xbox Game Pass subscriptions. For everyone else, you can pick up the game on Steam or Xbox. The title is a Left 4 Dead-esque cooperative shooter that unsurprisingly needs some time in the oven before it becomes a full product. Hence the early access. But it is being helmed by Chet Faliszek, a writer for the original two Left 4 Dead games as well as the Half Life 2 episodes and both Portal games.

The Anacrusis has a battle pass with cosmetics, but there’s a bit of a caveat to it. As with any pass there is a free version and a paid version. The good news is that those who buy the pass during season 0 will receive the infinity pass, giving access to the premium track for every pass to come. The better news is that those who bought the game on Steam will have access to it automatically.

To thank our earliest adopters, everyone who purchased the game on Steam already has the Infinity Pass and will automatically get the Premium version of all future Challenge Tracks for The Anacrusis for free. Additionally, everyone who gets the Premium Infinity Pass will receive the Infinity Banner, which will let them showcase their OG status for all eternity.

It’s a pretty good deal all around. I know some of our viewers aren’t happy about battle passes period, but you can’t go wrong with this. If you have the game through Game Pass, the pass costs a mere $7.
