Bethesda Starts Up Steam Transfers

Bethesda.net shuts down May 11.

Today marks the start of transfers from Bethesda.net to Steam, following a prior announcement that Bethesda’s own launcher will shut down this year. Players can head over to the official transfer page (bear in mind there may be load problems as everyone jumps on board) and start transferring their games from Bethesda’s launcher to Steam starting right now. The Bethesda.net launcher will go offline on May 11, however that isĀ not a deadline for transferring your account. Bethesda has so far not given any indication of a cutoff point where people need to transfer their accounts by.

All unused Bethesda keys will be migrated and usable on Steam. You will need to transfer local saves yourself, with an instruction page set up on how to do that on a game-by-game basis. Not only do games transfer, but your wallet will as well including Fallout76 atoms.

Unfortunately you will have to reinstall all of your games. Yes that includes Fallout 76 and Elder Scrolls Online.
