ArcheAge Unchained Sunsets Today

The failed spinoff is being merged in.

ArcheAge Unchained was the failed spinoff of ArcheAge, neither of which have been especially flourishing over the last few years. As announced back in September, November 30 (that’s today) marks the last day of operation for ArcheAge: Unchained because, as the folks at XL Games note, it didn’t do well.

Especially, in the case of ArcheAge: Unchained, the population per server has reached a point where it is no longer possible for you to enjoy systems are they were designed to be. Unfortunately, with the current server population, we can’t continue servicing ArcheAge: Unchained alone. We regret having to inform our ArcheAge: Unchained players of this decision.

ArcheAge: Unchained players are being merged into ArcheAge, the latter of which has a whole 24 hour peak of 107 people on Steam. The merged servers will have one auction house per region.

Players can look forward to December 2 when hackers and bots take over the land rush and offer to sell the land back for real money.
