Shutting down in November.
Battle Crush is a game most of you probably weren’t aware existed. I played it back in beta and found it to be interesting but having a few major gameplay issues particularly around stunlocking.
Evidently other players had a problem as well, because the game is shutting down in November amid NCSoft layoffs. The good news is that all purchases between June 27 and October 23 will be cancelled and refunded.
It’s really shocking when NCSoft gives refunds after announcing a closure.
The service closure of Battle Crush is scheduled at 4:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024 (KST).
Did I say layoffs? I said layoffs. Reported earlier this week, NCSoft is planning on voluntary retirements and involuntary layoffs for employees after multiple quarters of lost revenue.
