After duplication glitch occurs.
MapleStory is handing out a few hundred ass whoopings this week. In an announcement on the official website, the folks at Nexon this week revealed that 228 accounts have been permanently banned over exploitation of a recently discovered glitch in patch v.260.
We have identified exploits involving the duplication of mesos and items that undermine the integrity of the game. 228 accounts have been permanently banned, and any duplicated items and mesos are to be removed.
In addition, another 233 accounts have been temporarily banned. As compensation for the extended downtime that ran well over a full day, players can expect a bag of goodies to be waiting on their digital doorsteps when they log back in.
