RuneScape is touting its biggest visual overhaul in over ten years with this week’s launch of the player avatar update. The update comes as part of the “Road to Restoration” strategy of fixing up a bunch of stuff that the game has let lapse over the years, being over 20 years old and having relatively constant updates over those years.
Players will enjoy more refined, high-quality avatars and chat heads that match their character’s appearance for once. A second part of the update will be available in the autumn with more details to come.
