Mobility: Com2uS Announces Summoners War: Chronicles
Summoners War is getting a prequel!
Summoners War: Chronicles was announced this week by Com2uS. Chronicles is set 70 years before the original Summoners War, a real time battle game that has gained a fair amount of attention thanks to the strong IP it is based on. Players choose up to three characters to take into battle from a growing roster of characters.
“Summoners War: Chronicles will bring a different gameplay experience and fun to many global users who enjoy MMORPGs,” said Jack Lee, the head of division at Com2uS. “We are working hard to provide high game quality and meet the expectations of many game fans around the world.”
Com2uS aims to launch Summoners War: Chronicles in the second half of 2020. Stay tuned for more information.
Heir of Light Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary
Mobile game developer Com2Us is celebrating the first anniversary of mobile game Heir of Light. In celebration of its birthday, Heir of Light is holding an anniversary event crossover with another Com2Us game: Summoners War. The update includes two Summoners War characters, Valkyrie and Archangel.

20×20 World Battle – This new game mode allows players to form five teams and battle against five other random teams. Players’ ranks are based on results of each battle and the number of defeated servants.

Potential Ability – A new feature that can power up servants in this new update. There are two types of Potential Ability available within this update: Normal and Special. 4-5? Servants can obtain Normal Potential Ability and only 5? Tank Servants can obtain Special Potential Ability.

5? Servant Select Summon Stone – These Summon Stones will act as gifts for players who sign into the game during the event period
[Video] Skybound Releases Summoners War Animated Short
Today’s video comes to us from Com2Us, creators of mobile RPG Summoners War. To celebrate 100 million downloads and with the game’s continued success, Com2Us has partnered with Skybound Entertainment to produce several adaptations including an upcoming TV series.
The animated short features a band of heroes seeking out a jewel of great power. Will they work together or will petty rivalry get the best of them? Find out in this short six minute film. The characters from the animated short will be featured in the full show when it airs.
Com2Us Posts $106.7 Million In Sales
Com2Us this week posted its third quarter revenue for 2018 and the results are positive.
Third quarter sales amounted to $106.7 million USD with $33.8 million in profits, beating out the previous record of $26.5 million. Overseas sales accounted for 83% of revenue with North America and Europe accounting for 50% of those sales.
For the future, Com2US is looking to expand its popular Summoners War title from the mobile gaming scene and into cartoons, comics, and other merchandise. They have also opened up pre-registration for Skylanders Ring of Heroes on mobile devices.
