Lineage II Releases Player Appreciate Pack

9P2zmz

NCSoft wants to show players how much it appreciates them, and probably apologize for the fact that character registration has been completely disabled while the team goes in and figures out how to deal with the overwhelming number of bots taking over the game. While registration is down until August 24th, players have been invited to redeem a player appreciation pack, containing a myriad of items and boosts.

The appreciation pack can be redeemed in game until September 16th and can be claimed once per account.

To compensate those who already bought the more expensive early access packs, Trion is sweetening the deal with extra bonuses.

Pathfinder Online Early Access Rates

banner_header_main

Pathfinder Online recently entered Open Enrollment, meaning the price of admission has changed once again. Many seem to be under the impression that you still need to drop a good grand to gain entry, which was the case during the alpha stage.

Right now you can gain immediate access for $100 by buying the Early Enrollment pack. The package comes with three months of game time and other digital goodies. For those who can wait another month, there is a $50 pack that grants access beginning in February, and only contains one free month of game time.

Early enrollment should not be confused with open enrollment, which is not set to begin until January 2016. Also keep in mind that while the game is in early access, you are still required to pay a subscription.

Goblinworks does not consider this to be a beta period.

Marvel Heroes Adding More Villains

marvelgame 2013-01-12 13-54-38-45

Marvel Heroes continues expanding its roster of heroes, and now even villains. In a post on the official website, Gazillion announced that players can get their hands on an advance pack, including Dr Strange, Juggernaut, Magneto, Moon Knight, Nightcrawler, Psylocke, Silver Surfer, Sue Storm, Star-lord, and Venom. The advance pack also offers two additional characters who have yet to be named, as well as other bonuses including fortune cards and alternate costumes. The pack will set you back, however, by a good hundred dollars.

Players will receive the heroes as they are released, which Gazillion expects to occur throughout 2014 and into 2015. If you aren’t so excited to throw down $120, you can always wait until the heroes are released and buy/acquire them individually.

City of Steam Discontinuing Collaborator Packs

cityofsteam3

The closed beta for City of Steam is over and done with, and while the rest of us are waiting for the open beta to begin, Mechanist Games is busy at work getting the game ready for launch. If you were planning on getting your hands on one of City of Steam’s numerous collaborator packages, know that your time is limited. Actually, you have two days. As of 11:59 PST on Friday, February 1st, the collaborator packs will be removed from the City of Steam store and will no longer be available to purchase.

Some of you are probably thinking: “So what? I’ll just wait for the next batch.” Well, that’s certainly an impression you may have gotten when we phased out the Alpha Collaborator Packs, where we considered ending it then and there, but brought them back for the Closed Beta by popular demand. This time though, this is the last you’ll see of them (for realsies this time)!

After February 1st, City of Steam will still be selling Electrum (RMT currency).
