Beyond Light brings servers beyond capacity.
Destiny 2’s latest expansion launch is here and Beyond Light isn’t just a reference to the game’s plot. Servers have been strained all day with players finding themselves in long queues of tens of thousands of people just to get a taste of the new content.
Bungie has noted that they are continuing to investigate issues affecting players across all platforms. Yes, that includes Stadia. Players not interested in dodging server disconnects, queues, and crashes are advised to boot up Netflix and watch the four hour Hateful 8 Director’s Cut. That isn’t Bungie’s advice but it’s a great way to pass several hours.
