Old School RuneScape is coming soon to a Steam store near you. Following the launch of RuneScape on Steam last year, Jagex’s old school counterpart joins the digital platform next month. February 24 marks the launch of Old School RuneScape on Steam for those who somehow managed to miss out these past eight years.
The Steam landing page is already up for wishlisting and there will be Steam achievements. Executive producer Rob Hendry said;
“What began as a vanilla server for RuneScape has evolved into an eight-year success story and were so excited that it’s expanding to the Steam platform next month. 2021 is set to be a huge year for Old School RuneScape with a jam-packed release schedule, and all content accessible with cross-platform play. We’re confident that both our community and new players alike will find their time in the game an exhilarating one.”
Old School RuneScape has played host to record breaking peak users, with over 157,000 logged in simultaneously during the second League server event.
