Red Dead Online‘s standalone version costs five dollars, but it won’t cost five dollars for very long. Starting February 15 the standalone version reverts back to its full price of twenty smackers. Response to the standalone game has been so great that Rockstar is handing out a bundle of coupons for free and reduced stuff in Red Dead in the coming weeks.
Players who log in by February 15 will receive coupons for a free horse (under rank 40), a free stable slot, 5,000 club xp, 2 free ability cards, a free coat, free hat (rank 15 and under), free shirt (also rank 15 and under), a free fast travel voucher, high velocity ammo, horse reviver, and an assortment of tonics and other consumables.
Current players can enjoy discounts on weapons, pamphlets, and anything from Wilderness Outfitters. The butcher’s table has been reduced by 5 gold bars, moving camp is free for the time being, and camp customizations are 40% off. Connect your Prime Gaming account to receive a free bounty hunter license as well as other goodies and discounts.
Just remember the $5 discount ends February 15.
