Handy reminder to the MMO Fallout audience that Lord of the Rings Online will be ending support for Windows XP this week. Announced last month, Standing Stone Games is ending support for the antiquated operating system on June 8. That’s Tuesday, June 8. The eighth of June.
In addition to Lord of the Rings Online, Dungeons & Dragons Online also announced its end of life plans for Windows XP and earlier operating systems. That sunset will occur later this month. In both cases player characters are tied to accounts and will remain accessible should users upgrade their systems.
