Amazon’s New World is preparing for server mergers. In a post on the official forums, players were given dates and times on when to expect server maintenance in preparation for downtime for servers to merge. No information on which servers are merging, or specifically when, has been given at this time.
We are planning to merge worlds in Central Europe, US-East, US-West, and Australia and will be holding downtime in preparation to support them. Please see below for the downtimes for each region.
New World has seen significant drop-off in player numbers since its launch, leading to many of the servers becoming ghost towns or having a significant portion of territory taken over by single faction or company. The server issue isn’t helped by the sheer number of servers Amazon added to take the load off in the game’s early days.
