Deal announced today.
In today’s edition of “what was that? I’m half-asleep and don’t think I understood what you said,” Microsoft is acquiring Activision Blizzard. Yup. I’m just going to skip to the next paragraph to let you digest that information.
Rumored this morning and officially announced via the Xbox website, Microsoft has struck a deal to buy Activision Blizzard and all their little toys. What does this mean? Activision Blizzard games on Xbox Game Pass of course.
Upon close, we will offer as many Activision Blizzard games as we can within Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, both new titles and games from Activision Blizzard’s incredible catalog. We also announced today that Game Pass now has more than 25 million subscribers. As always, we look forward to continuing to add more value and more great games to Game Pass.
The acquisition hasn’t happened yet, that’ll be at an unknown time in the future once all the paperwork is signed and regulatory committees handed their checks. Until then, MMO Fallout will keep you situated.
