Hyper Scape was many things. A game, developed by Ubisoft, free to play, released on systems, and playable with a keyboard and mouse. One thing it wasn’t however is a commercial success. Earlier today Ubisoft announced that their battle royale title will shut down on April 28, giving it just a year and a half of life since its launch in August 2020.
The writing on the wall for Hyper Scape was probably between when Ubisoft stopped updating the game in early 2021 and when they announced Ghost Recon Frontline as a competing BR title.
