Sword of Legends Online announced this week an upcoming transition to free to play. The business model change will hit players on February 24 alongside an expansion into more eastern European countries as well as update 2.0. Players can look forward to new classes, new areas, new dungeons, and more.
The news post notes that all items buyable in-game will remain cosmetic after the shift in business model.
Together with developers Wangyuan Shengtang & Aurogon, we’ve taken on board the feedback from the Swords of Legends Online community and have decided to move the game to a free-to-play model. This means players can now experience their own legendary adventure in Shenzhou completely free of charge and without restrictions.
