New World is getting another server merger today, after which 47 servers will be going the way of the dodo. If you stuffed that dodo into another dodo. I may be losing my own analogy very early on.
Amazon announced the servers affected yesterday, which include 21 from Europe, 15 from US East, 6 from US West, and 4 in Australia. Those servers will be merged into other servers in the same region. As is practice, territories on the worlds absorbing other servers will remain unchanged. The merger downtime has been extended due to the number of characters to transfer.
We are extending this merge downtime for an additional hour (~60 minutes) due to the number of characters on these worlds. We’ll provide further updates when information comes in!
