Coming to PC and mobile this June.
Do you not have phones? No? Well you don’t need them anymore. Diablo Immortal is the mobile spinoff of the world-famous Diablo series. Long before Diablo Immortal had a solid release date it had already cemented itself as sort of a living meme. After all, who can forget that moment at BlizzCon 2018 when that brave man stepped up to the microphone and asked “is this an out of season April Fool’s joke?” The announcement of Diablo Immortal was immediately met with derision on the internet and well-known shots of the barren demo station, and particularly when the question of whether the game would have a PC client was met with a resolute no. Thus born the question; “do you guys not have phones?”
Well it turns out Blizzard’s adamant statement of no Diablo Immortal PC client didn’t stand up to the test of time. This week Blizzard announced the release of Diablo Immortal on both PC and mobile. On June 2 even. The game supports cross-play and cross-progression, with controls and an interface redesigned for playing on a computer monitor. Immortal will also support WASD controls and hotkeys for smoother use.
On June 2, Hell is everywhere.
