Dev apologizes for launch.
Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore has had a rocky launch, and the rocks aren’t done rocking just yet. In a post on the official Steam page, the folks at Gellyberry Studios apologized for the launch and post-launch issues including duplicate transactions. Players can look forward to full refunds on duplicate transactions (obviously) and in addition the team is working on a full reset.
On May 12th, the servers will be reset and everyone will start the game fresh. Yes, we are doing a full wipe and essentially restarting the game on May 12th. Up until then, players will be welcome to play to help us identify additional issues, as well as confirm that current issues are resolved.
All players with an active subscription by May 12 will receive a full two weeks added to their account, and players with accounts will receive an “I survived launch” cosmetic at a later date.
Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore has a 25% “mostly negative” rating on Steam.
