Luminary Online isn’t fantastic, and the Steam launch in 2022 by VALOFE didn’t go so great with a peak user count of 146 followed by that number gradually dwindling into the lower double digits. As a result it might not be too surprising to hear that the game will be closing its doors in May of this year.
As posted on the official Steam page, Luminary Online will shut down on May 3, 2023.
It is with a heavy heart that the Luminary Global Team must announce the coming closure of Luminary: Rise of the GoonZu on VFUN. Circumstances beyond the control have given us no other choice but to let go of the reins of Luminary Global. It has been a pleasure for us managing and publishing this great game to a great community of players, but alas, the time has come for this great era to end.
Luminary Online has been running for a long time, going back to 2006 and developed by NDOORS.
