The game and website are now inaccessible.
News from the Early Access front, Population Zero has (un)officially shut down. While we have known for some time that the Enplex Games team was laid off last year, the game itself has been abandoned to die with no new content or developers to create said content.
Enplex Games has not made any official statement about the game in roughly a year, but Population Zero’s servers went offline a few weeks ago and never came back up. Attempting to launch the game is pulling an error message directing the player toward Population Zero’s website which in turn is defunct and inaccessible.
Servers offline, domain lapsed, employees laid off, and no player base? Population Zero is in all but confirmation officially defunct.
