Continent of the Ninth Seal Drops New Content Update
Webzen this week announced the latest update to Continent of the Ninth Seal which introduces the seventh continent and a swath of new content.
The main highlight of the update is the new continent Hernad where adventurers can find the dungeons Camp of Durahan, Forest of Blasted Spirits, and Faded Temple filled with Nefer’s forest just waiting to be killed for sweet loot. Along with the new dungeons comes new armor and weapons as well as rewards for those who pre-registered. Players will also find a mystery box which can be opened for gears every 24-48 hours.
An in-game event is being held to celebrate the update that gives away a weapon enhancement package with additional events offering bonus exp, dungeon rewards, and more.

[Giveaway] MU Legend Item Pack
MMO Fallout has partnered up with Webzen to give away item codes for MU Legend in anticipation of the long-awaited Gates of Glory update this month. MU Legend Launching PvP Content
Webzen today has announced the upcoming addition of PvP content for its ARPG MU Legend.
Set for launch on December 5, this content update allows players to engage in 3v3, cross server battles with other players in the same region.
“We will continue to add PVP content to MU Legend’s global version according to our production roadmaps and milestones while also maintaining our efforts into expanding PVE functionality. Even though hack-&-slash games are usually more PVE oriented, we at WEBZEN believe that MU Legend also allows players to explore the PVP aspects of the genre to the fullest degree.”

MU Legend Hits Open Beta, Soft Launches on PC
Webzen’s latest title MU Legend today launched into open beta, a soft launch of sorts where player data will be retained into the full launch later on. MU Legend is an ARPG and follow up to MU Online. Players are able to choose from four classes to fight the legion of Pandemonium.
Dennis Czybulka, COO at Webzen Dublin, acknowledged the occasion with these words: “Launching a game is always a high-stakes moment to live through, where hundreds of emotions collide. Here, in the ‘OBT backstage’, I am witnessing – let me put it like this – ‘an exotic diversity of exhilarated states of mind ‘: The chills of enthusiasm are making hairs stand on end, adding a frenetic edge to the usual finger-tapping rhythm – still not missing a beat – and hearts are hammering faster than usual. Now, the fun starts for the fans, and our attention is focused entirely on making their game experience the most unforgettable yet. All game content for launch is available today with more content coming further down the line. Players who participated in the previous beta tests will receive a bonus to be distributed on November 14.

MU Legend Cracks Open Beta In September
MU Legend has announced its open beta will be coming in September. When the servers go live, players will be able to get their fix whether they speak English, French, German, Polish, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
Dennis Czybulka, COO at WEBZEN, commented: “The September MU Legend OBT launch for the global audience has been decided with two fundamental aspects in mind: entertainment and quality.” He continued: “As a team of gamers ourselves, and taking into account the feedback from our Korean version of MU Legend, we have decided to tickle the very end of the summer for a global release, which will contain many more features than previously thought. The MU Legend team is now putting in a lot of hard work to provide the best game delivery possible. I’m very proud of the commitment they have shown, involving several departments and hundreds of passionate people utilizing their technical and gaming skills. We will keep everyone updated regularly as we continue to deploy improvements.”

Shot Online Hits Beta On May 31
(Update: We have received word from Webzen that the closed beta date has been changed to extend the signup period. More information to come.)
A golf MMO? You bet your sweet bippy, Webzen announced today that mobile golf game Shot Online Golf: World Championship will be heading into closed beta on Android and iOS on May 31 (next Wednesday for those keeping track). Hopeful players can sign up at the official website for more information before the servers officially go live.
Shot Online is a mobile adaptation of the PC MMO retooled for mobile devices.
