Amazon takes it down for the time being.
“Love is in the air! Or is that the corruption?” Amazon may have picked both the best and worst words to advertise the Corrupted Love pack in New World, a cash shop set of cosmetics tangentially related to Valentine’s Day. Because it’s almost Valentine’s Day.
But the love may have just been a little too corrupted, as Amazon has disabled the Corrupted Love Pack skins. Why? Because this is New World, where you can’t cough without some catastrophic system failure. It turns out the pack items were wholesale crashing out servers.
The items removed from the store include:
- Cupid’s Bow
- Glowing Admiration
- Love’s Cool Embrace
- Piercing Beauty
- Heartpiercer
- Crush
- Hallelujah Cannon
- Angelic Bulwark
- Spark of Light
- Moloch’s Fall
- Labor of Love
- Knight oF Devotion
- Fool for Love
We disabled the Corrupted Love Pack skins and the new Angels and Demons skins in the store to investigate a bug where the skins were causing a server crash. We will update this thread once we have more information!
