Gamigo Sunsetting Atlas Rogues

Later this year.

In a move that should come as a shock to absolutely nobody, Gamigo announced today that Atlas Rogues will shut down on July 5. As of right now the game is already unavailable for purchase, and while July 5 has been noted as the day the servers are set to shut off, the announcement makes it clear that date may be subject to change.

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce today that the Atlas Rogues servers will be shutting down. This is not a decision that we have taken lightly, but we have concluded that the game can no longer sustain itself. Starting today (05/30/2022) all purchasing has been shut off. Our current plans are to run the servers until July 5th 2022, this is subject to change and we will announce here if it changes.

Atlas Rogues is the reboot of Atlas Reactor, a title that launched to very little attention and was rather quickly abandoned to maintenance mode. Even last July we had noted that Gamigo had effectively thrown in the towel on the title. The good news is that players who bought the game in 2022 are entitled to a refund.

Given Atlas Rogue’s six month concurrent count peaked at six people, I’m sure those six people will be happy to see their refund.
