Realm Royale Reforged.
Realm Royale has actually received an update, a surprising turn of events given the game was basically abandoned over two years ago. According to a post on the official Steam page, a group of Hi-Rez employees have been working on this update in their downtime over the past few months.
Over the past few months a small internal team of passionate developers here at Hi-Rez took on the task to reforge the Realm, bringing back mechanics from Realm Royale’s earlier stages that players loved, while building upon the improvements and features that players are familiar with today.
The update overturns the unpopular rune system, bringing back armor with the addition of little perks like faster reload speed and cooldown reduction. Class locking is back for abilities, while class weapons are also locked to their respective classes. There’s a bunch of other tweaks with the clear indication that the team expects to continue updating the game.
