New World has launched Season 1: Fellowship & Fire this week. The season marks a transition of New World to seasonal content updates as well as the introduction of new battle passes. The season pass offers activities to level up the pass, with the premium track running $20 and includes a seasonal storyline.
Check out the video below discussing this week’s update. In other news, Amazon has laid of over 100 employees among its gaming division. These layoffs have not affected the New World team, which is apparently expected to continue growing.
