First new skill to be added to the game.
Old School RuneScape is getting a new skill, quite a triumph given it will not only be the first new skill added since the servers went live ten years ago, but it’ll be the first skill that exists in Old School RuneScape that doesn’t exist in RuneScape 3.
Players were given the option of voting between Sailing, Shamanism, and Taming (or no skill at all), and Sailing won over with a pretty close lead over Shamanism. The good news is that while Shamanism didn’t win this poll, Jagex has acknowledged the obvious popularity it had and promised to keep the skill on the back burner should the vote come up in the future for another new skill.
