This may come as a shock, but one aspect of games that gamers don’t take too kindly to these days is the idea of developers purposely stopping them from playing. Such is the case with Closers, epic anime RPG published by En Masse Entertainment. Turns out players weren’t too happy about the fatigue system preventing them from playing as much as they would like, and after hearing their feedback En Masse has decided to remove the system come July.
We heard you loud and clear. As of July 3, we’ll remove the fatigue system from the NA and EU versions of Closers. We’ve been watching, observing, and listening to all of your comments in regard to this system. It became obvious the system wasn’t good and took away the fun for a majority of players in our regions. Naddic is a very player focused developer and aligns with our En Masse mission to create great Player Experiences. So, we are very happy to announce the implementation of this change in the next update!
The update notes that existing energy potions will be converted into credits, however this has not been finalized. In addition, starter packs will be altered in what benefits they give as said potions will no longer have a use once the update goes into effect.

En Masse Entertainment announced today the official launch date for TERA on Playstation and Xbox: April 3. If you’re not willing to wait until April to get into the servers, you can pick up a founder’s pack and start as early as Tuesday, March 27. Founder’s packs include EMP, mounts, pets, titles, and elite status, depending on which package you buy. The founder’s packs won’t be available until March 27.

TERA’s latest class is here, the male brawler, and they’re giving people a reason to log back in and give him a chance. The male brawler carries the same fighting capabilities as his female counterpart. To mark the occasion, En Masse Entertainment is hosting a series of events. Log in between March 13 and 20 to obtain a free character slot, level the male brawler up to 15 by April 10 and receive a box of goodies to get you started, and take part in weekend events over the next month.
The male brawler has the same amazing moves, uses the same massive powerfists, delivers the same punch-and-counter combat rhythm, and embodies the same fighting fury as the female version. Human females have had the spotlight long enough! It’s time to let human males do some of the fighting.
More information on the male brawler can be found at the link below.

En Masse Entertainment has unveiled the Pink Power Bundle, a limited promotion in TERA to help spread breast cancer awareness. The bundle is only available until November 1, and contains a small handful of goods to show off your charitable ways.
TERA’s Pink Power Bundle sells for $14.95, with 100% net proceeds going toward the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
“According to Breast Cancer.Org, there are more than 3.1 million survivors with breast cancer history, and 40,000 women are expected to die in 2017 from breast cancer,” said Matt Denomme, Senior Product Manager at En Masse Entertainment. “We’ve got a chance to help bring those numbers down by spreading awareness through our TERA community, as well as contributing proceeds from our Pink Power Bundle to one of the many charities in need. We hope our small part will help these statistics change for the better and fight this awful disease.”

En Masse Entertainment wants to sweeten the deal with TERA’s subscriber rewards, and will be offering 15 daily EMP to elite subscribers. That’s 450 EMP per month assuming you log in every day and the month happens to have thirty days in it (your month mileage may vary). If you don’t play TERA, our referencing of EMP is probably meaningless to you. EMP is TERA’s cash shop currency, and it roughly translates to 100 per dollar.
So a month’s subscription at $15 gets you $4.50 in cash shop currency, which is pretty standard for subscriptions that offer some sort of stipend. You just have to log in every day to get it. In addition, TERA subscribers enjoy:
